                                                 Sr. L.Krishna Iyer ,who was working in Vannarpet, Thirunelveli was a close relative of  Sri. ASK with whose availability nearby ,made it easy for us to proceed with Sankari's marriage which ultimately consummated to take place on 1st September 1967 by God's grace.I had invited all the members of the Staff ( Teaching and Non Teaching ) of the College to attend the marriage.Perhaps that was the first time a marriage  invitation was given for all the members.All were happy to attend. The College was running a private College bus from Thirunelveli Jn to Petai for  transporting the Staff members making 3 trips both in the morning and evening. They utilized this bus and additionally hired another bus to make their way to Kalakad to attend the function.The Principal of the College also attended the marriage function.He was only happy to find that the Maappillai was his ex student , a brilliant student  who had his Mathematics  Degree from MDT Hindu college when this Principal had taught him for two years.

By KTV's personal supervision, a grand reception was given to my ex colleagues , which they were remembering for  a long time.

                       Our parents did not offficiate the marriage since the death of K in the previvious year had not stopped haunting them. It was Periya mama and mami officiated taking the role of the parents!

Sankari joined their in laws at 20,Snkaripara road , bhavanipur-Calcutta 20'.  The very next year was celebrated the marriage of Usha with my humble self at Nagerkoil on 4th September.  

                I hope , it is worth mentioning  one or two incidents at this point. There was a big "kaalpetti" which contained a number of toys made of mud ,coloured beautifully meant for Navaraathri festival.the toys were of different deities.One of them was being used by by Sankara athaan.It was a pazhaniaandavar statue.As explained earlier, he was not OK.In our house , we could  not celebrate Navaraathri in any year due to the death of some relative or some one within the family itself.Bommai coūld never be  used.! In the mean time a dumb astrologer , a mind reader visited the house.He read KTV.s mind and suggested to remove all the toys from the house ; so that  the sufferings would all vanish It was done immediately and there was no further death in tthe family. This incident led us to celebrate navaraathri without ' Kolu bommai '  in KTV family. You might have noticed that there was no further deaths in between K's death in 1966   and   KTV's death in 1987 on 23rd February. Not only that , with Usha's marriage and there afterwards, only happy functions have been taking place with a number of marriages, Seemanthams and child births , long afterwards Periya mama's death in 2013  December .
